Mary Catherine Waldrop

Mary Catherine Waldrop, 82 of Baytown Texas, passed away on May 11, 2022, surrounded by family. Catherine was the daughter of Simon Teal Perry & Nannie Viola Costilow and was born on September 1, 1939. She grew up in Grenada, Mississippi and was married to Roy Waldrop for 44 years. Catherine worked as a dentist office administrator for Dr. Morris Wolfean, DDS and Dr. Cindy Hargis, DDS. Catherine was an avid reader, loved working in the yard and was a long-time member of Eastside Baptist Church. She loved serving her heavenly father and was a woman of service.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, and her sisters Shirley Pyle, Ethel Herndon and step-daughter Darlene Mellor.

She is survived by her daughter Darla Carlisle (Elvia), son Keith Carlisle (Vickie) and step-daughters Sheryl Lemon, and Katy Cantrell (Mark). She is also survived by her beloved grandchildren Conner Carlisle, Wesley Carlisle (Janie Ann), Corey Carlisle, Shaun Lemon, Jennifer Mauricio (Gregorio), Francesca Mitchell, Jason Pullin (Valerie), Jaycie Basco and great grandchildren Will Mitchell, Abigail Mitchell, Natalie Wilburn, Amelia Carlisle, Eleanor Lemon, Parker Basco, Jayden Pullin and foster great grandchild Andrew.

She is also survived by her nieces Cindy Pullen (Dan), Perryolyn Pyle and Nandra Jackson (Raymond) and great nieces Bethany Clemons, Judson Jackson, Roxie Jackson and Madelynn Jackson and great great niece Perry Clemons.

Darla, Elvia and the family greatly appreciated the loving care Catherine received at ADL # 2 in Baytown, and the loving care she received from Virginia Campbell, Laurie Leeds, Betty Singh, Juanita Cunningham, Diamond Caddy and Izetta Jackson. She is survived by special family friends Manuel Pequeno Sr. and Patsy Brandon.

Pallbearers will be Conner Carlisle, Wesley Carlisle, Shaun Lemon, Gregorio Mauricio, Rodney Itle, Enrique Gonzalez, Danny Koons, Kyle Erickson, and Honorary Pallbearers will be Rex Blasier, and Cavyn Sanders.

Visitation will be held from 5-7pm on Monday, May 16, 2022 at Navarre Funeral Home 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, Texas 77521. The funeral service will be held at 10:00 am on Tuesday, May 17, 2022, also at Navarre Funeral Home with Committal Service to follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery 3010 Ferry Road, Baytown, 77520.
