Mary L. Bartek, 72, of Houston, formerly Baytown, was born December 14, 1940 in Temple, TX and passed away Monday, April 1, 2013 in a Cypress hospital. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Baytown and loved animals.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Walter Joe, Sr. and Lydia Alice Bartek and brother, Walter Joe Bartek, Jr. She is survived by her aunt, Wilma Yountz of Temple; cousins, Pat Stepan, Craig Stepan, Jeanette Bandt, and Reagan Krupka, all of Burleson; nephew, Todd Bartek of Baytown; and several other family members and friends.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Friday, April 5, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Nancy M. Simpson officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.
