Maria A. Perez

She attended De Zavala Elementary from 1949-1956, Baytown Jr. High from 1956-1959, and graduated from R.E. Lee High School in 1962. She was the president of the Apostleship of Prayer of the Sacred Heart Society for six years, and secretary of the Guadalupanas Alter Society for two years. She was also a member and a CCE teacher at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church.

She was preceded in death by her father, Ascencion Yepez; mother, Victoria Yepez; brothers, Jose Ascencion Yepez, Pedro Yepez, Gregorio Yepez; sister, Celedonia Razo; daughter, Jacqueline Perez; sons, Luis Antonio Perez, and Augusto Perez, and father-in-law, Antonio Perez.

She is survived by her husband, Tony B. Perez; mother-in-law, Benita Perez; sons, Carlos Perez, and Victor Perez and wife Viola; daughter Dalila Favela and husband Jesus; grandchildren, Victor Perez II, Taylor Perez, Toni Rae Elias, Jacqueline Perez, Kiley Perez, Stephanie Perez, Augusto Perez, Rocio Favela, Olivia Favela, and Jaime Perez; step-grandchildren, Derric Hinojosa, and Britney Hinojosa; great-grandchildren, Gabriel Alvarez-Perez, Aubrey Perez; step-great-grandchildren, Reagan Hinojosa, Jaylynn Hinojosa, Raylynn Hinojosa, and Peyton Hinojosa.

Serving as pallbearers will be Jesus Gonzalez, Steve Salinas, J.P. Yepez, Alejandro Villarreal, Samuel Campos, Benito Munoz, and Victor E. Perez II as an honorary pallbearer.

Family will receive friends on Monday, August 25, 2014 from 2:00 to 9:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Earthman Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be on Tuesday, August 26, 2014 at 10:30 p.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1124 Beech St., Baytown, TX 77520.

Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521.
