Maria Lopez

Maria Lopez, 61, of Baytown passed away on September 26, 2012. Maria was born on December 24, 1950 to her late parents, Exiquio and Maria Montoya, in Diaz Ordaz, Mexico. Maria was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother who always put her family first. She was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Baytown.

Mrs. Lopez is preceded in death by her parents, and her sister, Justina Montoya. She is survived by her husband, Raul Lopez, Sr.; son and daughter-in-law, Raul Lopez, Jr. and wife, Ofelia of Baytown; daughters and son-in-law, Norma Lopez-Rodriguez, Hilda Lopez-Garcia and Becky Lopez Amezcua and husband Juan, all of Baytown; brothers and sisters, Guadalupe, Ignacio, Tomasita, Maria De La Luz, Adan, Eva, and Exiquio Montoya, and grandchildren, Kimberly, Keri and Marc Lopez, Haley and Carlos Rodriguez, Jonathan Garcia and Jasmine and Adrian Sebastian Amezcua.

A Rosary will be recited at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, September 28, 2012 in the chapel of Navarre Funeral Home in Baytown with a visitation to follow until 7:00 p.m. A Funeral Mass will take place at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, September 29, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Burial will follow in Memory Gardens Cemetery.
