Maria O Cisneros

With her family at her side Maria O. Cisneros at the age of 81 went to be with the Lord on June 9, 2016. Born January 29, 1935 at El Rancho Soliseño Tamaulipas , Mexico, she married Moncerrato (Monce) Cisneros on September 25, 1950 and had three children.

Maria is survived by daughters, Maria Elena Aldrete and husband Oscar, Rosa E.Pizaña and husband Miguel, and distant daughter Maria Antonia Salinas; sister, Irma Rivas; brothers, Noe Sanchez and Felipe Rodriguez; nine grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Moncerrato (Monce) Cisneros; her sister, Ofelia Cruz; brothers Jose Olivares, Pablo Sanchez, Reyes Rodriguez, Guadalupe Rodriguez, Rosalio Sanchez, and Margarito Sanchez.

"Wela "as known to everyone, was loved and respected by all who knew her and will be deeply missed.

A special "Thank You" to Houston Hospice staff, Patricia and Michelle, and to Perla Razo for her help in caring for our loved one.

Serving as pallbearers will be Felipe Rodriguez, Noe Sanchez, Servando Cruz, Guadalupe Cisneros, Monce Salinas, Oscar Aldrete Jr., Gilbert Medina, and Monty Dupree.

The family will receive friends on Monday, June 13, 2016 from 5:00 to 8:00 pm with a rosary beginning at 7:00pm at Earthman Funeral Home. Funeral Mass will be held at 10:30 am at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, 1124 Beech St., Baytown, TX 77520. Interment will follow at Cedarcrest Cemetery, 3010 Ferry Rd., Baytown, TX 77521.
