Margaret Ilene Read, 68, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on September 23, 2024. She was born in Kileen, Texas on June 30,1956 to James and Marlene Read.
Margaret had a career as an elementary teacher in both Goose Creek ISD, and Channelview ISD. Margaret enjoyed working and sharing stories with her second and fourth graders.
She was preceded in death by both her mother and father. She is survived by her two brothers and their wives, JR and Debbie Read, and John and Judy Read.
A visitation will be held at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Dr., Baytown, TX 77521 on Tuesday, October 1, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, with graveside service to follow at 11:30 am in Memory Gardens Cemetery, Baytown, Texas.
