My prayers and condolences are with all the family.

Cecil was one special lady who loved her family and was an outstanding employee.  She treated us as family rather than her employer.  She kept a special place in her family albums for pictures of our family and the way she talked to others made them question if were related.

Her job knew no boundaries; she knew what needed to be done and never hesitated to do it (easy or difficult had no effect on her).

She was a very giving person and took great pride in her work and in everything that she did. 

Cecil would get on the roof and help her late husband put on a new roof.   She did so many other things that many ladies can’t or won’t do and until the last couple of years – was still sharing her wonderful vegetables and flowers that she grew with us and others.

People were surprised to go in her home and see her doll houses, their furnishings - her dolls, and her unique furniture, beautiful china, and lovely antiques.  None of these things looked like her on the outside – but just mirrored the beautiful person she was one the inside!

We loved her – all our family did – and we will certainly miss her.

My condolences and sympathies go out to Cecil's friends and family.

I was one of Cecil's neighbors at Wellington Park who loved to walk over to visit her when her knees couldn't quite make it to visit me.  She always welcomed company and it didn't make any difference if she was in the middle of a nap or baking something in the oven; I was always welcomed with a smile.
  
Cecil liked beautiful things and was very proud of her doll houses and delicate items she liked to tell me about. 
 
Cecil is one of those people I have been very glad to have in my life, even if for a short time.  I won't ever forget her.

Our thoughts continue to think about Cecil. We failed to mention in our first note our appreciation of the special care and attention that all her family gave to her.  Especially, Debbie is to be commended for the many hours devoted to meeting her needs.  When she needed more care, Debbie was quick to take Cecil to her home to insure all her needs – physical and companionship - were met.

We were pleased to hear the minister in her memorial service state that she had recently fulfilled a longtime desire to be baptized.  This makes one believe that she was of the opinion that her life on earth was about over and she wanted to insure that everything was in order for her Eternal Life.  For this we were so comforted.  Now we must all be sure our lives are in order so as to meet her in heaven some day!

We pray God will provide comfort to her entire family as they adjust to her absence and to dwell on the fact that she is no longer tired or hurting, but is happy in her new home!
