To the Burns/Meyer Family,

My deepest condolences in the loss of sweet Lisa. I can honestly say I do not think Lisa had a mean bone in her body. From her infectious smile to her beautiful ice blue eyes, Lisa was a one of a kind soul.  Lisa blessed many with just being a nice wholesome person. 
When I think of her, my mind goes back to my childhood. Playing basketball with her mom, Cindy coaching in the old gym on the hill. Such fun times and great memories.  My heart hurts for each member of Lisa's family, friends and anyone she has touched. I will continue to pray for comfort and guidance.

I was truly sadden to hear about your loss.  No amount of words can express or ease the pain you and Cindy must be experiencing.  
While I never had the opportunity to meet Lisa, reading about her, so many commented on  what a true inspiration she was to everyone.  
Praying that you and your family find comfort in your memories during this difficult time.   Please know that I lit a candle at church for you yesterday.

Your Journey seemed so short, however you and you alone knew what your Journey entailed.  We are so Blessed that you had included all of us along the way from choosing your parents Rocky and Cindy, to marrying the love of your life Jason, while bringing into the world two beautiful children.  Wade and Ali will continue to keep your legacy alive for many generations to come.  Throughout your life you touched siblings, extended family members, friends and co-workers through the years.

I so enjoyed working with you even though it was for a short time and it was a pleasure taking you under my wing.  I felt so honored to have given the  Blessing at your wedding reception, an  occasion I will never forget.

We will always see you in your daughter’s eyes, in your sons mannerisms and kindness.  We will always hear your name as your loving husband speaks from his heart oh so fondly of you.  Your essence and your laugh will continue to put a smile on our faces and lighten our hearts.  As tears flow, they are with joy of how vibrant you were.  As you whisper into our ear, it’s you giving us comfort.

Sweet Lisa and my daughter Adrianne grew up together. My heart is breaking  for the whole family.  Words can't express the sorrow I feel for Cindy and Rocky right now or for Laurie and Heath. I love you all.

Garage Sale January last year 2020 is the “MEMORY” Fr Khanh told me she was interested in helping with my Garage Sale, Joseph & I were selling our house and we needed to get rid of house goods. Lisa brought a group of young ladies to help with garage sale, Joe & I didn’t have to do or say anything, Lisa & her group did the job... Love ❤️ you Lisa “REST PEACEFULLY WITH CHRIST” you will truly be missed “But” God has gained an Angel from Earth...🌹🙏🏼

Although we all know these days will come we are just never ready for goodbye. We were neighbors for many years before I became part of the family. You made sure I felt welcomed and loved. You were always so good to me and my boys. I admire you as a women, a friend, a sister, a cousin, a daughter, a grand daughter but mostly as a mother. You were awesome in all the ways. You were the picture taker, the glue, the gatherer. Always putting everyone else's needs before your own. Always with a smile and bright blue eyes! Lisa Marie, you were one of a kind and I'm so glad that I got to know and love you. You are as good as gold and totally irreplaceable. I will hold our memories tight. I pray that the family finds peace and comfort at this time. 🙏

Lisa, even though you were only 3 months older, I always felt like you were my big sister. I was much smaller than everybody, shy & awkward. Yet for some reason, you took me under your wing. You protected me, helped me make friends & tried to boost my confidence. You taught me about life, relationships, how to do a flip on the trampoline, prank call, 3-way, wrap a house…You were somebody I could let loose & be my true goofy/crazy self around, because I knew you loved me no matter what (plus, you were goofy too). I remember drinking SunnyD with salt around the rim & dancing to Criss Cross all night (with our clothes backwards, for the complete effect), running for our lives at your sister’s cheer practice, you pranking me every chance you got (since I was so gullible, that was a lot) and so much more…from softball to basketball to dances, sleepovers & slumber parties, you were a huge part of my childhood & shaped who I am today. We had so many laughs together & I have so many wonderful memories that I’ll always cherish. I’m so thankful God brought you into my life, even if it was for far too short a time. I hope my Mammaw is making you some fried okra up in Heaven. You will be dearly missed, but we will try our best to keep your memory alive. 

Words cannot express the feeling of great loss we all feel. I am forever greatful for the love you showed Kenadi. I wasn’t always able to make it to the girls stuff but you always stepped in and were there so I didn’t feel as guilty missing it because I knew Kenadi had a momma there that lover her like her own. From taking her to wrapping her first house, 8th grade dance, homecoming and Freshman initiation,  just name a few. You always made sure to get pictures and send them to me. Kenadi says she will mostly miss Yalls Starbucks dates and movie dates just at the house, and the list goes on. Rest easy Lisa we love and miss you so much already! I promise to do my best to Love like Lisa. Love, The Storms 

Our world is forever changed. You will be missed more than you know. I pray for peace over your family and friends. We will keep your memory alive and will always be there for all of your loved ones. I love you always and forever. Rest in peace, dear cousin.

I’ve met only a few people in my life that their soul radiates beauty, and kindness. It’s like a light, a feeling of love and Lisa was definitely a soul that radiated these qualities and more. Her big smile, blue eyes and happiness could only make you smile back at her. Her energy was contagious. Lisa was always hanging around us while we were having a slumber party with her sister Laurie, and she became a little sister to us all.  She was always smiling and happy. She was a bright light and brought happiness to everyone. I loved that she showed how much she loved everyone in her family. She shared her life with us all and I’m so honored to have known her. My deepest sympathy goes out to the Meyers, Burns and Bench families. I hope you all know just what a impact Lisa had on us all. Live like Lisa, lead like Lisa and Love like Lisa. Lisa, we love you and you will be missed by so many. It was an honor to know you.

My condolences to the Meyer's and Burns families.  Lisa was always such a sweet person; no matter how long it had been since she and I last spoke she always made it seem like the years in-between were just days.  There are so many memories I have with her from our childhood in school to our bus rides with her mom being our bus driver & maybe a time or two with us being loud one time to many.  I last spoke to her in May and the brief conversation we had now means so much more.  She told me I had such a kind heart but in reality it is Lisa who's heart was always the kindest.   Rest easy my sweet friend.
