Larry grew up and attended school in North Shore, and completed his education at the University of Houston. He worked for Brown & Root as an I&E and A Maintenance Supervisor. After 40 years with Brown & Root, Larry worked with Lyondell as an Analyzer Technician.
He loved hunting, fishing, and gardening. His tomato plants produced the best tomatoes, and he always enjoyed a good book.
Larry was preceded in death by his father, Gene Clarence Robinson and daughter, Tonya Jean Robinson. He is survived by his mother, Helen Robinson; his wife of 27 years, Steffani Walker Robinson; 3 children, Courtney Robinson and her husband Robert Hedal; Justin Kaufman and his wife Tiffany; Kyle Kaufman Chambers and her husband Josh; 2 grandchildren, Tyler Kaufman, and Kayli Kaufman; sister, Debra Knappick and her husband Robert; as well as many other extended family members and friends.
A visitation will be held on Saturday, March 16, 2019 from 10:30 am to 11:00 am at Navarre Funeral Home, with a Celebration of Life service to begin at 11:00 am. Following the services, family and friends are invited to a gathering in honor of Larry at his home.
In lieu of usual remembrances, donations in memory of Larry may be made to the COPD Foundation, 3300 Ponce De Leon Blvd., Miami, FL 33134 or to any charity of your choice.
