Larry Paul Lockett passed away on November 23, 2022, at St. James House in Baytown, Texas, after a long battle with Alzheimer’s disease. He was born November 30, 1941, to Hollis & Bessie (Hohn) Lockett in Liberty, Texas.
Larry graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown. He served in the U. S. Air Force from October 1960 to July 1964.
Left to mourn him are wife Sylvia, son Keith and daughter Tammy Cooper. He also leaves grandchildren, Joshua, Jeremy, Jacob and Jaden Cooper as well grandson, Trace Lockett to cherish his memory. Also a brother, Jimmy and sister, Ginger (husband Jimmie Stripling) survive him. He was preceded in death by the mother of his children, Karen (Gieger).
Larry was employed with Exxon and finished his career as a Farmers Insurance agent.
He was a fitness enthusiast in various arenas: hiking, biking, surfing and scuba diving. Soft-spoken and a man of few words, he was straight forward and honest. He attacked anything he did with determination until he succeeded at it. He loved his trucks, RV and Jeeps. He will be missed by friends and family.

Services will be held on November 30, 2022, at Navarre Funeral Home, will begin with visitation at 10:30 and funeral service at 11:00. Burial will be at the Liberty City Cemetery.
