Kevin Doyle Dubois

Kevin Doyle DuBois, 37, of Baytown passed away Tuesday, January 25, 2005 at San Jacinto Methodist Hospital after a long and valiant battle. He was born June 28, 1967 in Baytown, TX and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School. Kevin was diagnosed with Neurofibromatosis at the age of 21. He managed to deal with the path God chose for him, keeping his sense of humor through out most of the trials and tribulations of his short life on earth. We loved him and will miss him very much.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents Doyle and Iva Avant of Baytown and Alec “Big Daddy” DuBois of Mississippi. Surviving are his loving mother, Dolores Janowski of Baytown; brother and “sister”-in-law, Keath and Mikel Janowski of Baytown; his pride and joy niece, Britnee E. Janowski of Baytown; father and stepmother, Larry E. and Linda DuBois of Roundlake, MS; grandmother, Juanita Murrah of Roundlake, MS; uncle, James D. Avant Jr. and Aunt Patricia of Baytown; aunts, Faye Parham of Winona, MO, Marsha Chenault and husband Norman of Cleveland, MS, and Pam Cardwell and husband Quint of Liberty Hill; cousins, Krishna Cooper and husband Steve of Baytown and Lance Avant and wife Terri and daughter, Amber of Baytown; and numerous other cousins and friends.

We would like to thank all of the friends and medical staffs at St. Luke’s Episcopal Hospital, Houston and San Jacinto Methodist Hospital for their kindness and compassion.

Serving as pallbearers will be Keath Janowski, Troy Sickle, Shane Clance, Charles Spyker, Fernando Ybarra, and Lance Avant.

His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Thursday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Graveside services will be Friday, January 28, 2005 at 1:00 p.m. at Memory Gardens Cemetery with Dr. Charles Kyle officiating.
