Kenneth Wayne Stockwell

Kenneth Wayne Stockwell, 73, of Highlands, passed away Wednesday, August 21, 2013 in Baytown. He was born April 21, 1940 in Zachary, Louisiana to his late parents, Dewitt Stockwell and Addie Core Spurgeon.

Kenneth was a lifetime resident of the Highlands-Baytown area, a retired Lay-out Supervisor from En-Fab, member of the Baytown Boat Club and he enjoyed fishing, hunting, dancing and being with his family. Kenneth also enjoyed staying busy with his own unique creations.

Survivors include his wife of 56 years, Jean Stockwell of Highlands; children, Darrell Stockwell and his wife Lynne of Dayton, Debra Bassett and her husband Larry of Payson, Arizona and David Stockwell and his wife Debbie of Baytown; sister, Kaye Duhon of Highlands; brothers, Tommy Stockwell and his wife Ann of Highlands, Buddy Stockwell and his wife Ava of Baytown and Ronnie Spurgeon and his wife Cheryl of Groveton, 8 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of friends.

The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2013 at Navarre Funeral Home. Services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, August 24, 2013 at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Hill officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens.
