Kathie Mae Foster

Kathie Mae Foster, 97, of Baytown was born May, 25, 1920, in Jacksonville, TX and passed away Thursday, December 14, 2017, in a local healthcare facility. She was a longtime active member of Central Baptist where she especially liked working in the nursery and was a wonderful cook.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Goldie Foster; son, James David Foster; grandsons, John Glenn Foster and Chad Leroy Traylor; and four brothers and three sisters. She is survived by her children and their spouses, Glenn and Lura Foster, Gwen and Jerry Traylor, Kenneth and Cathy Foster, and Judy Whatley and seven grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, four great great grandchildren.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Saturday, December 16, 2017, beginning at 1:00 p.m. with a funeral to follow at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Eddie Norris officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery.

Serving as pallbearers will be Cody Foster, Kyle Kubasik, Sam Rayon, Clay Wootan, Doug Beck, and Keith Heintschel.

In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions may be made to the charity of one’s choice.
