Julia Munoz Guerra

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She will be missed by those who loved her and knew her.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Pedro Guerra of Baytown; parents, Manuel and Herlinda Munoz of Alice, TX; brothers, Roberto Munoz, Desiderio Munoz of Baytown, Gilberto Munoz, Raul Munoz, Manuel Munoz Jr. of Alice, TX; sisters, Beatriz Macias of San Antonio, and Lile Munoz of Baytown.

She is survived by her daughter, Yolanda Cavazos and husband Diego of Baytown; sons Raul Munoz and wife Diane of St. Louis, Missouri, George Guerra of Baytown; two sisters, Amelia Cortez of San Antonio, Herlinda Guerra of Alice, TX; brother, Fred Trevino of Alice, TX; grandchildren, Pete Cavazos and wife Sandra, Mamie Cavazos, Linda Hinojosa and husband Ramiro, Vickie Vargas, Raul Munoz Jr., Janie Munoz, Jessie Munoz, William Munoz, Jessica Munoz, Cody Munoz, Addison Guerra, Craig Guerra; great-grandchildren, Jasmine Juarez, Hannah Cavazos, Fabian Cavazos, Isaac Hinojosa, Isabell Hinojosa, Julian Cavazos, Matthew Munoz, Lisa Munoz, Jesse Munoz Jr., Casey Munoz, Teresa Munoz, and Ryan Munoz.

The family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home on Sunday from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. with a Catholic Rosary at 7:00 p.m. A funeral mass is scheduled for Monday 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church, officiated by Rev Fred O’Connor. Burial will follow at White Cemetery in Highlands, TX.

Serving as pallbearers will be Ramiro Hinojosa, Joe Zermeno, Ricky Munoz, Pete Cavazos, William Munoz, and Johnny Morales. Honorary pallbearers are Fabian Cavazos and Isaac Hinojosa.
