Judy Dunn

Judy Dellene Dunn passed away Tuesday, September 4, 2018. She was born on October 31, 1938 in Goose Creek, Texas to Katherine and J.R. Moran. Judy was a 1957 graduate of Robert E. Lee High School (Baytown), and a graduate of Lee College school of nursing. In addition to being a full-time homemaker, she had also worked as an LVN, medical secretary, and she also had the distinction of being the first employee of U.S. Steel Texas Works. Judy was a member of Sjolander Road Fellowship. A long-time Baytown resident, Judy also lived briefly in Venezuela and in Canada. She also traveled extensively throughout the world with her husband to destinations including Europe, Aruba, and Hawaii.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her daughter, Rommi Dunn Power, and her brother, Ross Moran. Judy is survived by her husband of 63 years, Allen Dunn, her dog, “Lucy Lu”, her son and his wife, Randy and Robin Dunn, Judy’s sister and her husband, Betsy and Roy Calma, Allen’s brother and his wife, Lloyd and Beverly Dunn, Allen’s sister, Lillian Perley, and many other family members and dear friends.

Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral home on Wednesday, September 12, 2018, beginning at 10:00 a.m. with a Celebration of Life to follow at 11:00 a.m. with Rick Crotts, Roy Calma, and Kirk Calma officiating.
