Judy was born Judith Ann Sappenfield on April 6, 1940 in Clayton, New Mexico. Her family moved to Oklahoma where she grew up in Boise City, the place she always considered home.
In 1960, Judy moved to Texas and settled in Baytown in 1964 where she raised her four children. Judy found her church home at Northside Baptist Church and loved her church family. She worked as a dispatcher for Harris County Constable precinct 3 and retired in 2008.
Judy was a fierce competitor and loved going to her grandchildren's sporting events. Her hobbies included drawing, writing poetry and music and singing. Judy loved The Lord with all of her heart.
Judith was preceded in death by her parents, Clyde and Ruby Sappenfield.
She is survived by her sons, Devin Adams and wife, Danielle, Steven Adams and wife, Krista, Chris Roach and wife, Lori; daughter, Andrea Williams and husband, John; siblings, Cleta Moore, Jack Sappenfield and wife, Dina and Pamela Germeroth and husband, Sid; 13 grandchildren and 9 great- grandchildren as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, March 17, 2016 at 10:00a.m. at Northside Baptist Church in Baytown, Texas.
