Judith M. Bittick Conway, 75, of Baytown was born May 30, 1938 in Tarkington Prairie and passed away at home Saturday, June 29, 2013. She retired from the Exxon Co., USA Production Department and was a member of Second Baptist Church. She enjoyed gardening and family gatherings, but she lived for her family, especially her grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Horace and Wana Lee Bittick and brother, Leon Bittick. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Jack Conway, Jr. of Baytown; children, Mike Duncan of Pasadena, Jenny Hinchliffe of Houston, Jesse Duncan of Pasadena, and Jeannine White of Houston; brother and sister-in-law, Wayne and Elaine Bittick and sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Dean Pike, all of Cleveland; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Joe and Dyann Conway of Baytown; grandchildren, Elysse Arrington of Lexington, KY, Crystal Fontenot of Houston, April Hinchliffe of New York City, NY, Joby White of Conroe, Peyton Duncan of Pasadena, James White of Houston, and Heather Hinchliffe of Houston; stepchildren, Jeff, Jamie, and David Conway, all of Huntington; step grandchildren, Kristin and Kody Conway and Zachary and Tristen Conway, all of Lufkin and Tessa and Ty Conway and Lacy Jo Conway, all of Huntington; six great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Her family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Tuesday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 10:00 a.m. with Rev. Donald Bittick officiating. Burial will follow at 1:30 p.m. at the Montague Cemetery in San Jacinto County near Cleveland.
Serving as pallbearers will be Charles Hauke, Andy Hauke, Clifton Rue, Joey Bittick, Darold Bittick, and Jim McMillan. Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Steitle and Skip Reid.
Her family would like to say a special ""thank you"" to Dr. Lance Pagliaro, Dr. John Ward, Dr. Salahadin Abdi, Dr. Brian Chapin, the exceptional nurses at MD Anderson Cancer Center, the staff of Odyssey Hospice, and Roni Bellard of Angels Above Us.
Her smile and goodness will be missed.
