Jerry Mack Galloway

Jerry Mack Galloway, 57, of Beach City, Texas passed away peacefully on August 1, 2018. Born on June 30, 1961 in Pasadena, Texas to Jerry Dan and Norma Jean Galloway, Jerry was the namesake of the man he would look up to throughout his life.

Jerry was a hard-working man. Starting his career as an I&E technician, he diligently worked to become a master electrician. This dedication later afforded him the opportunity to travel the world.

An avid outdoorsman, Jerry’s greatest joys in life were hunting and fishing. He would often be out on the bay, in a deer stand, or on the golf course whenever he had free time. When not outside, you could find him cooking or spending time with his family. They say a way to a man’s heart is through food; this proved true for Jerry especially when seafood or barbeque was involved. Jerry loved his children, and his biggest smiles stemmed from the ones who called him “PawPaw”.

Jerry had a fun-loving, charismatic personality which led him to never meet a stranger. He was always the person to help someone in need. His spirit was infectious, his laughter contagious, and his faith unwavering. Jerry’s memory will live on through the lives that were fortunate enough to know and love him.

Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Jerry Dan and Norma Jean Galloway, and sister, Lois Catchings.

He is survived by his wife, Cindy Galloway; children: Crystal Lemus and husband, Ricky, Heather Reed and husband, Bruce, Jerry Wren Galloway and wife, Hillarie, Jerry Dan Galloway II and wife, Marina, Devin Blue and wife, Katie, and Ian Blue and fiancé, Lakin; grandchildren: Nicole, Aiden, Ava, Rypli, Grayson, Brookelyn, Autumn, Jerry Wryland, Madison, and Cameron; brothers, Paul Catchings and wife, Mindy and Les Galloway and wife, Gen as well as many other beloved family and friends.

A visitation will be held for Jerry on Friday August 3, 2018 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Navarre Funeral Home 2444 Rollingbrook Dr. Baytown, TX 77521. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, August 4, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. also at Navarre Funeral Home with cremation to follow at a later date.
