Jean Frances Denton

Jean had a passion for gardening, quilting, fishing, RVing, playing Uno cards with the grandkids, bird watching, watching the ships come and out of the ship channel with her husband Troy and loved Mexican food (especially tamales). Her favorite charity was St. Jude's Children's Hospital.

Jean was preceded in death by father Ted Joines; mother Gertrude Carlson Long; step-father William C. Long and husband of 35 years and father of four children, Eddie Blake Hamilton, Sr.

She is survived by husband of 28 years Troy Lee Denton. Children, Jim & wife Marty Hamilton of Kingwood, TX; Doug & wife Claudia Hamilton of Baytown, TX; Nancy & husband John Anderson of Baytown, TX; Blake & wife Michelle Hamilton of Spring Hill, TN; Gary Denton of Pasadena, TX; Jim & wife Kat Denton of Houston, TX; Charlene & husband Bill Pigott of LaPorte, TX;

Grandchildren, Clayton Hamilton, Beth & husband Chad Henke, Matt Hamilton, John & wife Jennifer Anderson, James & wife Ecoterina Anderson, Daniel & wife Evelyn Klaus, Rachel & husband Michael Sisk, Christy & husband Josh Husband, Stephanie Totzer, David Hamilton, AJ Hamilton, Troy Banks & Ashley Jordan and 25 Great Grandchildren.

Jean requested that there only be a grave side service. The family has respected those wishes and the service will be held on Saturday, December 4, 2021 at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd., Baytown, Texas 77521.
