James “Ricky” Ludlam passed away in Conroe, Texas on November 26, 2018 at the age of 41. He was born on October 8, 1977 in Houston, Texas. Ricky attended school in Dayton, Texas. He loved to barbeque, shoot pool, ride motorcycles and Alabama football. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, and member of the American Legion Post 402 in Livingston, Texas. Ricky had a big heart. He was always willing to lend a hand to help anyone in need.
Ricky was preceded in death by his great grandmother, Ida Holley; grandparents Jim and Julia Thompson; grandfather, Guy Ludlam; and his uncle, Ronnie Ludlam. He is survived by his wife, Marcella Ludlam; daughter, Shelby Norris; mother and step-father, Jamie Thompson LeVasseur and Zeb LeVasseur; his brother, Jason Ludlam and wife Angie; aunt Patricia Cates and husband David; uncle, Michael Thompson and wife Anna; nephew, Hunter Ludlam; grandmother, Mary Burr; and aunt, Shonda Caldwell and husband Tony.
