It is with many fond memories of Scoot that I share in your grief.  He was such a kind boy and man. I lived just down the street from Scoot and  his family along with the Morrison’s’ and Willis’.  That was on Flaxman  Street in Jacinto city.

I remember our families setting outside and chasing fireflies in the dark. We could even see the constellations. What fun was that!

Looking at the picture of Scoot , with his wife, I still see the boy.



He was such a good sport with the girls.

I worked with Scoot for years.   When they closed the Bulk Plant and he came to Deer Park, he brought a lot of expensive hardware with him.  After it sat outside for years, it didn't look so expensive.  One time Buffy (I'll just use nick names) and I were moving all the spare parts with a forklift and a large reduction gear fell off the pallet.  We had a rule that if anything fell off enroute to "bone yard", it became scrap iron.  Months later Scoot came looking for.  Evidently upper management had found a buyer.  Turns out, it cost $500,000.  We never told Scoot what happened to it.
