Frances Louise Hines Stewart, 90, of Baytown died Wednesday, October 14, 2009. She gained the final victory and received her eternal reward. She fought the good fight, she finished the course, she kept the faith.
Louise was born December 22, 1918 in Houston to her late parents, Doctor C. Hines and Effie Fitzgerald Hines, graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in 1936 and retired from Exxon Refinery as head of the library. She was an active member of Grace United Methodist Church playing the organ there for many years and later joined St. Mark's United Methodist Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jay Stewart and her sister, Cleo Allen.
Special appreciation goes out to her best friends, Lilly Hubert and Linda Maqableh.
She will be greatly missed by her many cousins, friends and her poodle, Dexter.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, October 16, 2009 at Cedar Crest Cemetery with Rev. Nancy Cobbs officiating.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Thursday, October 15, 2009 at Navarre Funeral Home.
