She was born in Statesville, North Carolina, October 26, 1926, to Henry S Setzer and Ethel Mae Miller Setzer.
She married Howard Talmadge Berry and they made their home in Houston, Texas and then in Beach City, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers Clinton Setzer and Bill Setzer, and sister Lorrena Lambeth, and her son Michael Eugene Berry.
She is survived by her brother, Larry Setzer of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina and her daughter, Dianne Allison of Alvin, Texas, and 5 Grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and one great great grandchild.
She was an avid gardener and enjoyed attending functions and volunteering as a greeter on Sunday mornings at her church, St. Marks Methodist Church in Baytown, Texas.
A celebration of her life will be held at 11am Saturday, March 29, 2025 at St. Marks Methodist Church located at 3811 North Main, Baytown, Texas, with Jason Huffman and Sandra Allison officiating.
The family will receive friends in the fellowship hall following the service.
