Elizabeth "Lu" Childers passed away on August 20, 2016 at Kindred Hospital in Pasadena, Texas.
Lu was born on August 26, 1954 to Betty Turner and Bill Blackmon. Lu attended Robert E. Lee High School.
Lu is preceded in death by her mother, father, and brother.
Lu is survived by her husband, Ronald Childers; father A.G. Bogie, sisters, Jeanne, Tammy, Terri and Cathy; brothers, Bill and Lester; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at 11:00am with a visitation beginning at 9:00am at Earthman Funeral Home.
