Ms. Dorothy L McArthur

Dorothy is predeceased by her husband of 49 years Beemer Harrell McArthur of Channelview, Texas, her sons Robert Lee Conway, Thomas Earl McArthur and Roger Dale McArthur, and her parents Edward Lee and Colota Natoma DeTuttle.

Dorothy is survived by her children Joseph Edward McArthur (Alice) of Alvin Texas, and Pamela Mitchell (Mikiel) of Houston, Texas. She is also survived by grandchildren; Stephen McArthur (Mary), of Orlando Florida; Julie Reid (Randy) of Magnolia, Texas and Joseph Paul McArthur of Ft. Worth, Texas. She is also survived by great-grandchildren Maddison Reid, Royce, Reid, of Magnolia Texas, Michael McArthur of Orlando Florida, and Molly McArthur and Jonah McArthur both of Ft. Worth, Texas.

Dorothy loved her church, Dell Dale Avenue, and spent many hours volunteering in the kitchen fixing meals for bereaved families, in addition to always being there to help in Vacation Bible School. If you asked her, she was always there to help you.

Dorothy also had a special place in her heart of the Channelview Senior Citizens Center, where she fixed meals for the homebound, did arts and crafts, was Vice President, Secretary and President of the Club and loved all the trips they took together. They were a big part of her life for many years.
