Donna Lee Thompson

Donna Thompson was born in South Bend, Indiana on November 5, 1949 and went to be with the Lord on August 20, 2019. She was preceded in death by her parents Lee Sperry and Ethel Grace Sperry; mother and father-in-law, Mary Ellen and Dwight Thompson and brother-in law, Dwight (Skip) Thompson.

Donna was a wonderful mother to her two children, Chris and Mary Beth Thompson. She loved being involved in their extracurricular activities which included being a “band mom” for the Crosby High School band as well as being supportive in all other activities her children were involved in. She had recently retired and enjoyed spending time with her grandsons. She also loved playing bunko and spending time with her bunko friends. Donna is survived by her two children, Christopher Thompson and wife Stephanie of Kingwood; and Mary Beth Castilleja and husband Gerald of San Antonio. She is also survived by her grandsons: Connor Castilleja, Isaac Thompson, and Ethan Thompson. She is also survived by the father of her children, Charles Thompson and wife Carol of Crosby.

A memorial service celebrating her life will be held on September 22, 2019 at 2:00 pm at the Crosby United Methodist Church.
