Deloris Diana Wright

Deloris Diana Wright, 75, of Baytown, Texas, passed away 22 January 2022. She was born 30 March 1946 to Cecil Charles Carter and Ruby Irene McCartney. She was married to Robert (Bob) Wright for 14 years. Diana worked with the Baker Road Baptist Church for a number of years and was very passionate about assisting those in need.

She was preceded in death by her parents; Cecil Carter, Thomas (Buddy) McCartney (Step-father) and Irene McCartney and her husband Robert (Bob) Wright.

She is survived by: Siblings; Larry McCartney and wife Tina, Faye Foerster and husband Woody, Jerry McCartney and wife Naomi, Jean Thompson and husband Robert, Terry McCartney and wife Alida. Children; Rebecca Swisher (m) Wayne Swisher. Grand-Children; Christina Thomas (m) Vic Ozoria, Robert Erickson (m) Erika Siemek, and Alex Swisher. Great Grand-Children; Vanessa Thomas and Kiley Siemek, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, many family members in Louisiana, and many friends.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm on Monday, February 7, 2022 at Houston National Cemetery, 10410 Veterans Memorial Dr., Houston, TX 77038.
