Clyde “Click” Bigler, 81, of Baytown was born June 14, 1925 in Franklin, LA and passed away Thursday, February 22, 2007 in a local hospital. He was a longtime member of Second Baptist Church and was a U. S. Army Air Corps WWII veteran. He retired from the Exxon Refinery in 1982 after 33 years of service and he loved and enjoyed his family, singing in the church choir, camping, piddling, and dancing.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Henry Mayer Bigler Sr. and Alice Kappel Bigler, first wife, Jeanette Ott Bigler, son, Stanley Roy Bigler, and 3 brothers and 3 sisters. He is survived by wife, Elizabeth Ann Bigler; sons and daughters-in-law, Craig M. Bigler and companion Debbie Jones, Keith and Fran Bigler, Richard “Dicky” and Sharla Bigler, and Jim and Marilyn Holland; daughters and sons-in-law, Priscilla “Prissy” and Brian Kearns, Susan and George Hudnall, and Alliece and James Morris; brother, William R. Bigler; sisters, Marguerite B. Primeaux and Elizabeth B. Carr; grandchildren, Melody Bigler, Misty and Patrick Faircloth, Mason and Sara Bigler, Nicole Hudnall, Lyndsay and Jason Schick, Lori Bigler, Janis Bigler, Ginger and Bryan Montgomery, Jade Bigler, Brett Bigler, Bailey Bigler, Brandon Kearns, C. R. Jr. and Mary Lindsey, Cory and Mindy Lindsey, Ken and Nicole Holland, Amy Johnson, and Karen and Derrick Guske; seven great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Serving as pallbearers will be Mason Bigler, Brett Bigler, Brandon Kearns, Christopher Robertson, Michael Robertson, Jared Guidry, Ronnie Callaway, and Kevin Hilzley. Honorary pallbearers will be Steve Oliver, Charles Albright, Leroy Angermiller, C. R. Lindsey Jr., Cory Lindsey, Ken Holland, and the late Chester A. Baker.
His family will receive friends at Navarre Funeral Home Friday from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be Saturday, February 24, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home with Rev. Mark Stafford officiating. Burial will follow at Grandview Memorial Park in Pasadena.
