My prayers are with you during this time of loss and grief. 
We lived next door to all of you in Eva Maude for years!  The fun we all used to have.  I remember your mom making the Barbie cakes for all of our birthdays.  And, your dad mowing the yard with a rotary mower (he was an environmentalist before it was fashionable!)

As a youngster, my mother (Winnie Fudge)  and I attended Murriel & Ashbel Street church of Christ and were among the first members of the Pruitt & Lobit church of Christ.  I remeber Cliff and the entire Bell family and just want to offer the condolences of my wife (Peggy McDaniel Fudge) to the entire family.  I have such fond memories of  Clifford and the faimily. I remember Clifford from growing up in Bush Terrace.  He was older than I, but he always took time to speak & notice me.  Our families would have (42) parties & I learned to Play.  When Clifford went in service, he was in Mexico once & brought me a small set of dominos made of Ivory.  I still have them & think of him bringing them to me each time I look at the dominos.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of Clifford Bell.  Our Brother Bell finished the race that was set before him and did so with great honor and humility.  Clifford and Vergie have been such an influence on so many lives.  The time and devotion they and their families have dedicated to Christians and friends everywhere will forever be an example for me.

We are so sorry for your great loss. We love you and we pray that you will find comfort in God's word and in your brethren.

Sister Vergie,

We will always remember your's and brother Bell's examples of faithfulness and faithful servants of the Lords Church and his Kingdom. We also know how enfluencial you have been to many within your family, church and bringing others to the Gospel. We will always cherish the time we were able to spend with you all during our membership at PL Chruch of Christ.

We know because of brother Bell's faithfulness that the Lord has rewarded him with the promised rest he promises his faithful Jer 6:16; and Heb 4:1-12;

May the Lord alway bless and keep you.

What a wonderful example Mr. Bell left his children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren!  We know he will be missed.  We pray that God will be with all of you as you mourn his loss.

Dear Sister Bell and family,

Although we didn't know brother Bell personally, we knew him by his good reputation as a man of God who touched our lives and the lives of many others.  It was while he served as an elder that the Pruett and Lobit church helped support me as an evangelist in the state of Utah.  We will always be grateful for that fellowship and assistance.  We are sure brother Bell's good name and godly influence will continue to live on in the lives of your children and grandchildren and in the loving memory of your life together.    

God bless you at this time of separation from your loved one.  May the comfort of the Lord sustain you in the days ahead as you continue living for heaven and the eternal home of the soul where death will be no more.

Dear Virgie and all of Cliff's family ... thank you so much for sending this memorial website to us .. I printed it for mother and daddy to read.  I have fond memories of the Young and Bell families as a child growing up in Baytown.  Cliff was a good and gentle man.  Virgie, we know you will be lonely, but you will lean on the Lord and on your big family who love you so much.  We send our sympathy, but also rejoice with you that Cliff is at home with the Lord. I rejoice at the thought of Bro. Bell in the presence of the Lord that He loves and has served so faithfully throughout his life.  I grieve with the family for the loss of his gentle presence in the world.  I was always impressed with his spirit of love and service for the Lord and for His church.  We have lost a great servant of the Lord, but Heaven has gained a soul that continues to give glory to God.  May God bless you all, especially my dear Virgie who means so much to so many, and is very dear in my heart for all her kindnesses to me and her example of Christian womanhood.

Sister Virgie and Family: Marinel and I rejoice with all of you in brother Cliff's ""crossing over the Jordan"" to be with the Lord (even more closely now than in this world), after diligently laboring for the Lord and walking with God, in full assurance of faith these many, short years. Many are the saints who are welcoming his coming and enjoying his company over there. Thank you and brother Clifford for your excellent examples of faith, hope and love through all these years. Since 1961, and my first meeting with the Pruitt and Lobit church, you have ever been beloved brethren to us. We love all of you in Christ. The hope of seeing Cliff again, after a little while, is added incentive to serve our Saviour and our Father to the end. We are thinking of you and praying for you now, as in the past. Faithfully, Bill and Marinel Cavender  (P.S. We often drive thru the village of Shiloh, TN - from Jackson to Selmer, to Shiloh, to Pickwick, after visiting Marinel's family. Kind thoughts of Cliff and the Bell family flow through our minds when we do.)

Dear Virgie, 

We know of no other couple who have done so much to help others who were ill or grieved as you and Cliff.  We'll always remember and appreciate how you helped us during the final illness of my parents, Roy & Eva Rowland.  Cliff and my daddy were elders together for so many years.  

Also, precious to our memories is the hard work we did together for the Florida College Booster Club to raise money for the scholarship fund to help some young people go to F C their first two years. (our last count was 73 students .. and that number goes up year after year!)  

So many of God's children have been goodly effected by your love for them.  We are in debt to you and Cliff  as for years we have walked ""the old paths"" together .. thank you for walking with us.  

May God continue to bless you, Virgie, and bless all of us as we adjust our daily lives without Cliff's presence.
