Braulio “Bobby” Perez, 75, of Baytown, TX passed away June 25, 2024. He was born in Stafford, TX on December 1, 1948, to Atanacio and Brijida Perez. Bobby was a proud US Army Vietnam Veteran who served starting June 16, 1969 as a 05B20 Interspeed & Radio Operator until being honorably discharged on June 1, 1975. He worked in the maintenance department for Goose Creek Country Club, Evergreen Country Club and finished his career with Oxy. He was an avid NASCAR fan always rooting for Dale Earnhardt and collecting his memorabilia. He enjoyed watching Gunsmoke, Bonanza, old John Wayne and Clint Eastwood movies.
He was preceded in death by his parents Atanacio and Brijida Perez, his brothers Julian Perez, Eluterio Perez, Juan Perez, his sister Ysabel Soza, and grandson Colby Perez.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Elma Perez, his sisters Rosa “Rosie” Perez and Gloria Padilla, sister-in law Leonilda “Nonie” Perez and Angela “Angie” Perez. His son James and wife Juley, daughter Yvonne and husband Garrett, son Braulio “Bobby” Jr and partner Sonia, his daughter Jennifer and partner Bryan and son Jonathon and fiancé Sabrina. Grandkids Danielle “Storm”, Lauryn “Lolo”, Ravyn “Ray-Ray”, Xander “Sander”, Gabrielle “Gabby”, Kaci “Kaci Jo”, Aubrielle and his great-grand-daughter Amara and well as many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
A visitation for Bobby will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at Navarre Funeral Home, 2444 Rollingbrook Drive, Baytown, Texas 77521. Funeral services will begin at 3:00 PM with a reception to follow from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM.
