Billy Joe enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, frogging, and going to the casino boats. He loved Beavers Bend and has asked the family to carry on that tradition.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Hubert (Bill) and Maudie Smith.
Billy Joe is survived by his wife of 41 years, Frankie; 7 children; 25 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; and 2 brothers, Gene Smith of Mt. Pleasant, TX and Perry Smith of Baytown, TX.
The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 27, 2016 from 2:00 to 5:00 pm at Earthman Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 28, 2016 at 2:00 pm at Earthman Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mt. Pleasant, TX.
