Billy Marshall Richards

Billy was born and raised in Pelly, TX, and graduated from Robert E. Lee High School in Baytown, TX. He attended Lee College and married his high school sweetheart, Jo Ann Watkins. Billy never met a stranger and was one of those few people that you could not help but like. He always found time to talk knowledgably on just about any subject. He had the uncanny ability to remember things with great detail from long ago that most folks would have forgotten. He made this world a better place by just knowing him.

He was preceded in death by his parents, James Richards Sr. and Jewel Richards; brother and sister-in-law, James M. Richards Jr. and Ruth Richards; sister and brother-in-law, Claudia Ellis and R.C. Ellis; and his wife, JoAnn Richards.

He is survived by his daughters, Sharon Davis and husband Jim, and Susan Todd and husband Keith; grandchildren, Trey Davis and wife Stacy, Kyle Davis and wife Tara, Amy Davis, Lisa Stuart and husband Justin, Kay Lynn Henley and husband Jon, and JoAnn Todd; nephews, Jim Richards and wife Cynda, and Gary Richards and wife Janet; and eight great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Trey Davis, Kyle Davis, Tyler Davis, Justin Stuart, Jon Henley, and Gary Richards.

The family will receive friends on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Earthman Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 10:00 am in the pavilion at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd., Baytown, TX 77521.
