Billie Ruth Lankford 79 years young, passed away on September 22, 2016 with her loving family by her side. Ruth enjoyed cooking, crocheting and spending time with her grandchildren. She also enjoyed monthly trips for many years to Coushatta Casino with her husband Buell.
She is preceded in death by her first husband of 13 years, Billy Puckett and second husband of 32 years, Buell Lankford, brother in law, Wesley Joy, her step daughter Vicki Joy, Niece Dolly Langley, and son in law David Castello.
She is survived by her daughter's Beth Castello, Anecia Williams, Vicky Ortega and son Billy Puckett, step-daughter's Diana Smith, Jeri Willis and step son Michael Lankford, brothers: Jimmy Langely,and David Langely, sister: Mary Alice Arnold, 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pall Bearers: Scooter Murchison, Jacob Smith, T.J. Smith, Justin Lankford, Joel Williams and Cody Thomas, and Terry Smith serving as an honorary pallbearer.
