Billie, the 3rd of 5 siblings, was born on November 11, 1932 in San Antonio, TX to Barney Elmer and Aurora (Dora) Westrup McCurdy.
She is preceded in death by her loving husband, Joe W. Blythe (4/3/16), a son Michael Ray Blythe (4/3/10), and a grandson Aron C. Carley (6/13/07), along with all of her siblings.
She is survived by her daughters Connie Ronning (Ronnie) and Carol Jo Brown (Todd), and a son Noble (Mark) Blythe.
Even more importantly she was Meemaw to 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, and 2 great-great-grandchildren, Timmy and Ava. She was known as Aunt Billie to a host of nieces and nephews, and a “Spiritual Mom’ to many of her friends.
A very special “Thank You” and “We Love You” to Billie’s 24 hour nurse, caregiver and granddaughter Casey J. Whitaker for her sweet love and compassion for her Meemaw in her last days. We could not have done this alone.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, July 17, 2018 from 5-8pm at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home Chapel, 3919 Garth Rd. Baytown, TX 77521. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, July 18, 2018 at 10am at Maranatha Church, 12319 TX-146, Mont Belvieu, TX 77580. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Rd. Baytown, TX 77521.
