Betty Gay Moody

She was was married on November 29, 1952 to Morris Don Moody, Sr. They were married for 53 years when Morris Don passed away on January 2, 2006.

Preceding her in death were her sons, Morris Don Moody, Jr., and Rickey Dale Moody. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Bessie Hanson, Billie Bolmanski, and Bobbie Bitner.

Betty is survived by her son, Jerry Wayne Moody, Sr., and his wife Shirley, one daughter, Ronna Renea Belk, and daughters-in-law, Carla Moody, Joyce Moody and Shirley Moody.

Betty has six grandchildren, Shawn Puffer, Adam Moody, Heath Moody, Lacy Moody Roberts, Jamie Moody, Madison Moody, Megan Moody, Jerry Moody, Jr., and Matthew Belk. She also has Great Grandchildren: Brittany Puffer, Devon Puffer, Kierstin Moody, Calliegh Moody, Alec Moody, and Astrid Roberts.

She is also survived by an extended family of nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones, many of whom are here today.

Betty lived for many years in Baytown, Texas. After retirement, she and Morris Don built their retirement home in Moss Hill, Texas.

Granny Baby and Bae Bae, as she was known to her grandchildren, will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
