A memorial service will be held May 19th at Earthman Funeral Home in Baytown, Texas.
Junior was born November 21, 1959 in Port Lavaca, Texas, to Aurelio L. and Marcela B. Hernandez. He was a kind husband, devoted father, and extraordinary grandfather.
Junior was a very hard worker, working over 15 years at Turner Industries. He was a devoted Christian. In his spare time, he enjoyed traveling with his family. He was an avid sports enthusiast. Houston and hometown sports teams had a special place in his heart, with his favorite teams being the Texans and the Astros. He was a music lover. Junior never missed his son’s concerts, granddaughter’s volleyball games, and grandson’s concerts.
Aurelio “Junior” Hernandez is survived by his wife of 45 years, Noelia (Vela) Hernandez, his three sons and daughter in law, Aurelio “Tuto” and Dalila Hernandez, Noe and Isai Hernandez; and 2 grandchildren, Samantha and Jacob Hernandez; and by his siblings Maria Samanego, Gloria Cruz, Lupe Hernandez, Lorenzo and his wife Georgina Hernandez.
He was preceded in death by his parents Aurelio L. and Marcela B. Hernandez, and siblings Juan and Cecilia Hernandez.

The family will receive guests for Aurelio on Thursday, May 19, 2022 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521. A celebration of life service will occur Friday, May 20, 2022 at 10:00 AM, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521. A committal service will occur Friday, May 20, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521.
