Angie was a strong spirited individual and was a positive inspiration to all that knew her. Her passion was doing the Lord's work in the ministry. Whether it be in the mission field in the valley or doing music ministry in the church. If you needed to find her the best location was at the church. She took every opportunity she got to share God's word to everyone she met. She was not ashamed of her faith.
She obtained her GED late in life and attended Seminary where she received her music certification. She was a minister's wife, in which, her job was endless as well as rewarding.
Angie is survived by her husband, Willie; son, Javier and wife, Cynthia; daughter Gwen Licon; granddaughters, Andrea Renteria and husband, Manny, Amber Rosales and Koryna Licon; grandson, Noah Licon; sisters, Margaret Gonzales, Beatrice Aguirre and Mary Serna; brothers, Ricky and David Garza. The family will be holding a visitation on Friday, July 29, 2016 from 9:00- 10:00 a.m. with a service to follow at 10:00 a.m. at Navarre Funeral Home 2444 Rollingbrook Dr. Baytown TX 77521. A Celebration of life will follow at the Nueva Vida Church at 7007 Bayway Baytown TX 77520.
In Lieu of usual remembrances the family would like donations to be made to the Church for future mission trips. So that her Heart's desire and her unwavering passion can live on through the church that she loved so much.
