Amy Joy Johnson, 38, of Baytown, passed away Wednesday, June 4, 2014 in Baytown after bravely battling cancer for nearly six years. She was born October 3, 1975 in Youngstown, Ohio and had live in the Baytown area since 1978.
Amy attended the Barbers Hill schools and loved the outdoors, most of all fishing, swimming and camping. She was ""Nana"" to everyone's kids and never met a stranger.
She is survived by her husband, Doniel Roan; children, Sierra, Danielle and Sean Roan; step-children, Cynthia McKenzie and her husband Rick, Shantel Roan and Terrance Williams; parents, Roger and Jackie Johnson; brothers, Roger J. Johnson and Eric Johnson and his wife Kacey; grandmother, Joyce Holley; father-in-law and mother-in-law, S. L. Roan, Jr and Vernell Roan; brother-in-law, Eric Roan and his wife Crystal and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., Saturday, June 7, 2014 at Navarre Funeral Home which will be followed by a service at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Dave McClennan, Officiating and Pastor Frank Davis, Eulogist.
