Amelia Perez Zuniga, 62, of Baytown, Texas passed away on September 1, 2024. Amelia was born to Jose Perez and Rosa Garcia on March 25, 1962 in Mexico City, Mexico. She married Marvin Zuniga in 2014 and they lived together in Baytown, Texas.
She is survived by her husband Marvin Zuniga, children Diana Wing and her husband Chris, Maciel Herrera-Palmer and her husband Victor, Jesus Herrera II, Steven Zuniga, and Kevin Zuniga, grandchildren Emilio Guzman, Jesus Herrera III, Pnut Rodriguez, Annabelle Wing, Marina Amelia Herrera, Jenny Gonzales and Tori Palmer.
She also leaves to cherish her memory her siblings: Rosario Cornejo, Jose Luis Perez, and Antonio Perez and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents Jose and Rosa Perez and her siblings: Santos, Miguel, Esteban, Irma and Enrique Perez and great-granddaughter Kah’lani Rodriguez.
Amelia worked as a General Merchandiser for H-E-B for 15 years. She enjoyed gardening, decorating and traveling. She was a member of New Harvest Church.
A gathering of family and friends will be held Monday, September 9, 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521. A Celebration of Life service will begin at 12:00 PM, followed by the committal service at 1:30 PM at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521. Pastor Jose Luis Perez will officiate the ceremony.
