Alfonso Castellanos Osorio, 78, of Baytown, Texas, passed away on October 11, 2024. He was born in Tampico, Tamaulipas, MX, on December 18, 1945, to Alfonso Castellanos Cardenas and Ana Maria Osorio. He passed away in the arms of his loving wife, Jo Ann Castellanos, who he was married to for 45 years. He lived life to the fullest till the last second, when God called him Home.
He is preceded in death by his father Alfonso Castellanos Cardenas, mother Ana Maria Osorio, and sisters Eloisa Lozano and Eugenia Sifuentes.
He is survived by his wife, Jo Ann Castellanos, son and daughter-in-law, Roland and Laura Castellanos, and daughters and sons-in-law, Blanca and Angel Velazquez, and Audrey and Jonathan Lara; grandsons, Alfonso Paul, Roland Christian, Leonardo Luciano, Valentin Mateo, Dante Lucca, Fabian Marcos Tadeo, granddaughter Lilyana Isabel, his brothers, Efrain, Ernesto, and Everardo Castellanos, sisters, Elsa Lee, Ana Maria Martinez, Estela Gonzalez, Elena Cantu, Esperanza Garcia, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Alfonso worked at the same company for over 40 years. He was a welder by trade, but also an incredibly gifted problem solver and inventor. He was well respected and admired by all who worked with him. He was an avid duck hunter in his early years but traded in his shotgun for a rod and reel. He enjoyed spending his time with family. He bought hope, laughter, and love to everyone around him, and he will be sorely missed.
Visitation will be held Friday, October 18, 2024 from 5:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Earthman Baytown Funeral Home, 3919 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521. A chapel service will be held Saturday, October 19, 2024 at 10:00 am at the funeral home followed by a graveside service at 11:30 am at Earthman Memory Gardens Cemetery, 8624 Garth Road, Baytown, Texas 77521.
