Wilma M. Jarrett

She was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Jarrett Sr.; sons, Edward Jarrett, Jr. and Dennis Keith Jarrett Sr.; mother, Arment Bostic McCarthy and father, Alvin McCarthy Sr.; six brothers and five sisters.

She is survived by her three sons, Darrell Jarrett (Lillie) of Baker, LA, Grady Jarrett (Elisha) of Atlanta, GA, and Michael Jarrett of Baton Rouge, LA; two daughters, Cathy J. Gray (Jessie) of Baton Rouge, LA and Kim J. Kelly (Rodney) of Baton Rouge, LA.; fifteen grandchildren; twenty five great-grandchildren; daughters in-law, Ruby Jarrett and Karen Jarrett, both of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; sister Audrey Bias; brother, George McCarthy; special niece, Theresa Carolyn Moore Levine; and a host of relatives and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 1565 Curtis St., Baton Rouge, LA 70807 on Sunday, March 13, 2022 from 3:00 p.m. until 5:00 p.m. and Monday, March 14, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. A Rosary and a Ladies Auxiliary Ritual will take place during the Monday morning visitation. A funeral Mass will follow the visitation at 11:00 a.m. Rev. Thomas F. Clark, SJ, Pastor will officiate the funeral Mass. Interment will follow at Port Hudson National Cemetery, 20978 Port Hickey Rd, Zachary, LA 70791.
