A retired aerospace engineer with Lockheed-Martin Co. and resident of Baton Rouge, he died at 8:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 27, 2011, at Heritage Manor long-term care. He was 91, born Aug. 30, 1920, a native of Baltimore. A service will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd., Baton Rouge, LA 70815, at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 30. He loved his career in the aerospace industry and was very proud of his contribution to the space program, especially the space shuttle. He also loved to cook and entertain his friends with good food and spirits. Survived by his son, Bill Warren Jr. and wife Beverly, granddaughter, Billie Ann Kirk and husband Ben Kirk; and great-grandchildren, Brandon Kirk and Heather Kirk. Preceded in death by his wife, Theresa N. Warren; and brothers, Fraine Warren and Leroy Warren; and sister, Mary Spielberg.
