"A resident of Denham Springs and native of Okmulgee, OK, Wanda Rogers passed away on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at Carpenter House of St. Joseph Hospice. She was 78. Visitation will be at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East Chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd, on Sunday, Nov. 6, 2016 from 4 pm until 7 pm and will resume on Monday, Nov. 7, from 11 am until religious services at 1 pm conducted by Rev. Dr. Kevin Hand. Burial will follow in Denham Springs Memorial Park. Wanda is survived by her husband of 62 years, Don R. Rogers; daughter, Julie R. Bales and fiancé Larry Johnson; two sons, Steven R. Rogers, and Mike L. Rogers and wife Indred; two brothers, Danny Bill Stout and wife Sandy, and Jimmy D. Stout and wife Juby; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her son, Larry D. Rogers; brother, Wannie Stout; sisters, Delores "Dodie" Ford and Patsy J. Brown; and her parents. Wanda was a member of First Baptist Church of Denham Springs.
