Wanda was called to her heavenly home on Sunday, October 16, 2022, at the age of 84. She was a lifelong resident of Baton Rouge, Louisiana. Wanda was a wonderful cook and she enjoyed gardening. She is survived by her daughters, Stephanie Johnson (Alma), Renee Johnson, Rachelle Noland (Elton); brother, Bobby Young (Ruth); grandchildren, Erik Noland (Amber), Ethan Noland; soon-to-be great-granddaughter, Addie Noland; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her loving husband for 52 years, Floyd Johnson; mother, Mary Lou Young. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Thursday, October 20, 2022, at St. Gerard Majella Church, 5354 Plank Rd, Baton Rouge, LA; beginning at 1:00 p.m. until the Mass of Christian Burial at 2:00 p.m.. The entombment will immediately follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park.
