Walter “Warren” James Jr., 50, a native of Baton Rouge and a resident of Zachary, passed away on Sunday, September 14, 2014. Affectionately known as “Tiger” by his family, Warren worked at Winn-Dixie for 34 years in many departments. He was a kind hearted man with a witty sense of humor. He loved to cook and never met a stranger. He was truly the ULTIMATE LSU fan. He is survived by his four children: Ashley James, Chris James, Austin James and Matthew James; sisters: Kim James and Robin Stevens; aunt Pat Arnold and husband Joe; and nieces and nephews: Cody Brown, Layken Willis, and Brandi Stevens. Warren is preceded in death by his parents Walter and Delores James. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home on Thursday, September 18, 2014 from 5pm until 9pm and continue at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church in Zachary on Friday, September 19, 2014 from 9:30am until mass time at 11am.
