Mr. Vic Reno, age 79, a native of Fordoche and a resident of Baton Rouge, died at 2:30 am, November 25th, 2012. Mr. Reno was the founder of Insulation Sales & Service and was known throughout the southeast as an avid professional business man in the field of commercial, industrial and marine insulation. He was a loving man who never met a stranger. He is preceded in death by his parents Joe and Mary Gaeto Reno, 3 brothers; Joe, Tony and Vincent (who was killed in WWII), 3 sisters; Josephine Free, Sara Cacioppo and Jennie Bueche and one son, Victor Joseph (V.J.) Reno. Mr. Reno is survived by his wife of 60 years, Dorothy Labatut Reno, one daughter, Tammi Reno Bourque and husband, Bruce, one son Jimmy Reno and wife, Benita. Six grandchildren; Ashley Reno, Heather Reno Robinson, Heidi Reno, Josh Fontenot, Damon Reno and Kalli Fontenot Holston; 4 great grandchildren; Baylee and Brennan Fontenot and Hailey and Hayden Robinson; one sister, Lucy Giordano and two brothers, Russell and Angelo Reno. Special thanks to the staff of Sunrise Senior Living on Jefferson and St. Joseph Hospice. Pallbearers will be: Bruce Bourque, Matt Holston, Rufus Stevenson, Hank Glenn, Bobby Barbati and Sheriff Brent Allain. Honorary Pallbearer, Roland Louviere. Visitation will be held at Greenoaks Funeral Home, 9595 Florida Blvd, Baton Rouge, LA, Tuesday, November 27, 2012 from 5pm until 9pm and will resume Wednesday, November 28, 2012 from 9am until religious services at 10am. Interment will follow in Greenoaks Memorial Park.
