Timothy Roger Buhler, 74, a resident of Baton Rouge, passed away at his home surrounded by his loved ones on Friday, January 12, 2024. Visitation will be on Thursday, January 18th, 2024, at Rabenhorst East, Baton Rouge, at 10:00 a.m., followed by services at 12:30 p.m. Burial will follow in St. Alphonsus Catholic Church Cemetery, Greenwell Springs. A funeral mass will be said in his honor at St. Agnes Catholic Church on Friday, January 19th, 2024, at 11:00 a.m. Tim is survived by his wife of 50 years, Jennifer McClean Buhler; daughters: Brittany Mahoney (John) of Denham Springs, Courtney Crozier (Dale) of Hammond, and Jessica Fowler (Silas) of Baton Rouge; his brother, Ernest Ambrose Buhler, III (Dianne) of Baton Rouge; mother-in-law, Ruby Stein McClean of Baton Rouge; grandchildren: Michael, Agnes, Isaac, Dominic, Louisa, Vincent, and Marguerite Mahoney; Sarah and Ryan Crozier. He is preceded in death by his father and mother, Ernest Ambrose Buhler, Jr., and Anna Marie St. Clair Buhler; brothers, Mark and Ricky Buhler; and father-in-law, Joseph Sullivan McClean, Jr. Tim was a graduate of Central High School, class of 1967. He was a devout Catholic and a parishioner at St. Jean Vianney Catholic Church, Baton Rouge. He proudly served in the US Army from 1972–1974 and retired from the Exxon Refinery as a supervisor after 37 years of devoted service. Tim was an avid LSU fan, a loyal friend of Bill W. for 40 years, and enjoyed traveling with his wife and spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
