Theresa Louise Raborn

Theresa Louise Raborn was born on January 17, 1938, in Plaquemine, Louisiana, to Adam M. and Lydia Loup, Sr. As a longtime resident of Greenwell Springs, Theresa passed away on May 24, 2023, at age 85. She raised five children and many of her grandchildren and saw five generations of her family in her lifetime. Theresa took great care of herself as she did everyone else. She appreciated her jewelry and made it to her hair appointment every Friday. She loved antiques and cross stitching. Theresa was a member of St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church and worked for Louisiana National Bank, Premier Bank, and Chase Bank through her life, along with PBC Industrial Supplies. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Joseph L. Raborn, Jr; parents-in-law, Joseph L. Raborn Sr. and Olive Raborn; and many aunts and uncles. She is survived by her children, Denice Kilchrist (Bert), Lisa Reines (Bob), Kathy Banks, David Raborn, and Linda White (Benny); sister, Betty Chauvin (Hubert P.); brother, Adam M. Loup Jr; grandchildren, Shane White, Michael Reines (Jenna), Sarah Vann (Bo), Megan Pourciau, and Layne White; great grandchildren, Robert Reines, Caleb Rodgers, Stormie Mix, Austin White, Madeleine Alice-Louise Musemeche, Duby Vann, and Jaden Vann; great great-grandchildren, Rigel Mix, Annistia Mix, Phoenix Mix, Genevieve White, Jacobi Lambert, and Maloni. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, May 30, at St. Alphonsus Liguori Catholic Church at 11:30 am until Mass at 1 pm, conducted by Rev. Michael Moroney and Deacon Brent Duplessis. Burial will follow at Greenoaks Memorial Park. Pallbearers will be Megan Pourciau, Blake Chauvin, Shane White, Michael Reines, Caleb Rodgers, and Robert Reines.
