Theresa Arnold, a longtime resident of Baton Rouge, passed away on Monday, June 25, 2007. Theresa was a loving housewife who was born in Port Allen and a resident at Flannery Oaks Guest House. She died at the age of 82 while in nursing care in Baton Rouge. Survived by her three sisters, Martha Gillis of Baton Rouge, Bertha Cooper of Atlanta, and Elsie Castello of Ethel; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by her husband, Hardy Arnold; parents, Camille Joseph and Hennis Young Mayers; and brothers, Kenneth J. Mayers, Feltus G. Mayers and Royal J. Mayers. Visitation at Rabenhorst Funeral Home chapel, 11000 Florida Blvd., was from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday, June 26. Visitation continues at the funeral home on Wednesday from 8 a.m. until religious service at 9:30 a.m., conducted by Deacon Richard Grant. Interment in Port Hudson National Cemetery, Zachary, at 11 a.m. Wednesday.
