Teresa Lynn Craig Bromley passed away Saturday morning, April 4, in Baton Rouge. She was born March 27, 1953, in Sterling, Illinois, the daughter of John Craig and Dorothy Smith Craig, who proceed her in death. Teresa obtained her Bachelor's degree from Western Illinois University in 1975, and earned a Master's in Learning Disabilities at Rockford College, Rockford Illinois, in 1978. She spent her career in education, first as an elementary school teacher, and later as Director of Technology. She had myotonic muscular dystrophy for many years of her life. She is survived by her husband of almost 40 years, her high school sweetheart, her caregiver and friend, Bill Bromley of Baton Rouge; and brother, Bill Craig of Salida, Colorado. Brother, Frank Craig, proceeded her in death. Always seeing the good in every situation, Teresa was a vibrant woman who had the wonderful habit of bringing people together. She enjoyed cooking, travelling, snorkeling, and spending time with friends. Visitation will be held from 11:00 A.M. until 1:00 P.M. on Tuesday, April 7, at Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Boulevard in Baton Rouge, with service following at 1:00 P.M. Burial will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory.
